1957 Bathroom Reno

We gutted the entire room, and chose to create a laundry room with a 2-piece bathroom as there was an existing suite in the basement with shared laundry.

We wanted our own laundry room so started by removing and boarding up the window, installed new vinyl flooring, a pedestal sink, a low flush toilet, new cabinetry for storage and we also installed a new linen closet behind the bathroom door.

For resale purposes we boarded the entire bathroom with green board for a future shower.

This way there were choices to either have a shower with a stacking washer/dryer or to simply remove the washer/dryer completely and install a 4-piece bath once again.
